Terms of service.

The plain-English rules for working with Purday Marketing.

Who these terms are with

Purday Marketing is a UK business run by Alfie Purday, working with home-improvement firms across the whole of the UK. Contact alfiepurday2@gmail.com. These terms cover use of this website and the services we provide to clients.

What we do

We plan, build and run Facebook and Instagram advertising for your business, and we build the landing pages and tracking that go with it. Enquiries generated by that advertising are delivered to you and shown in your private portal.

We do not guarantee a specific number of enquiries, a specific cost per enquiry, or a specific amount of revenue. Advertising results depend on your budget, your trade, your area, your pricing and how quickly you follow up.

Ad spend

Your advertising budget is paid by you, directly to Meta, from your own ad account. That money never passes through us and we never hold it. The ad account, the pages, the pixel data and the creative assets stay yours.

What you pay us

A one-off setup fee, agreed with you before any work starts. The figure is tailored to your trade and area and is given to you as a straight number on the call.

Then 5% of results. Results are measured automatically by the Meta pixel and calculated by our system. They are never self-reported, and changing the status of a lead in your portal does not change what you are charged.

Fees are due on the invoice terms shown in your portal. We may pause work on overdue accounts after telling you first.

The two-month start, then cancel anytime

Advertising needs a fair run to be judged honestly, so we ask for a two-month start from the day your first campaign goes live. After that you can cancel at any time with written notice by email. There is no lock-in, no rolling retainer and no exit fee.

On cancellation you keep your ad account, your pages, your pixel and your leads. Any 5% already earned on results before the cancellation date remains payable.

What we need from you

Accurate information about your business, the access we need to your ad account and page, prompt answers on approvals, and honest follow-up of the enquiries we send. We cannot be responsible for enquiries that go cold because they were not contacted.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the claims you ask us to advertise, and for holding any licence, insurance or certification your trade requires.

Third parties

Meta controls the advertising platform. Ad account restrictions, ad rejections, policy changes and platform outages are outside our control, and we are not liable for them, although we will always work with you to resolve them.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect loss.

Confidentiality

We keep your commercial terms, your figures and your performance data confidential. Setup fees are private to each client and are never published. We will not use your name or results in our own marketing without your written permission.

Changes, law and complaints

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you as a client, we will tell you by email before it applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

If something goes wrong, email alfiepurday2@gmail.com and we will respond within five working days.
