Who we are
Purday Marketing is a UK lead-generation agency for home-improvement firms, run by Alfie Purday, working with firms across the whole of the UK. For questions about your data, email alfiepurday2@gmail.com.
If you enquire through one of our ads
When you fill in a form on a landing page we run, we collect the details you enter: usually your name, phone number, email, the job you want doing and your postcode area. We pass this to the tradesperson whose advert you responded to, so they can contact you about that job. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell it, share it with anyone else, or add you to unrelated marketing.
If you are one of our clients
We hold your business details, your contact information, the commercial terms we agreed, and performance data for the ad campaigns we run for you. If you connect a Meta ad account, we store the account identifier and an access token so we can read your own campaign statistics and leads back into your private portal. We use that access only to display your data to you. Tokens are held server side and are never exposed in the website itself.
Meta and the tracking pixel
The landing pages we build carry a Meta pixel. It records when an enquiry or sale happens so both you and we can see whether the advertising worked, and it is what our 5% fee is calculated from. Meta acts as its own data controller for the information it collects; their policy is at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
How long we keep things
Enquiry details are kept for as long as the tradesperson needs them to do the job and meet their own record-keeping duties. Client account and performance data is kept while you are a client and for six years afterwards, which is what UK tax rules require. Ask us to delete anything we are not obliged to keep and we will.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email us and we will respond within a month. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site uses only what it needs to work, such as keeping you signed in to your portal. Landing pages we build for clients carry the Meta pixel described above, and those pages ask for your consent before it loads.
