This policy explains how Purday Marketing handles personal data collected through purdaymarketing.com and our services. We act as the data controller for information you provide directly to us.
1. What we collect
- Enquiry details — name, email, phone, company and the message you submit through our contact and booking forms.
- Account data — email address and any profile information you add if you sign into the client area.
- Ad performance data — campaign metrics from Meta connected to your account (spend, leads, delivery data).
- Technical data — basic logs (IP, browser, page views) used to keep the site working and secure.
2. How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and deliver the services you've asked for.
- To operate your client account and show your ad performance.
- To send transactional emails (e.g. enquiry confirmations, lead notifications).
- To improve the site and diagnose problems.
3. Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on: contract (to provide services you've asked for), legitimate interests (running and improving our business, direct B2B contact with prospective clients) and consent (where required, for example non-essential cookies).
4. Sharing
We share data with service providers that help us run the business, including our hosting and backend platform, email delivery provider, and Meta (for ad delivery and reporting). We do not sell personal data.
5. Storage & retention
Data is stored on infrastructure inside the UK/EU where possible. We keep enquiry and account records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email alfie@purdaymarketing.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Security
We use industry-standard controls including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our backend, and least-privilege database policies. No system is 100% secure — please contact us immediately if you suspect a problem.
8. Children
Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be highlighted at the top.
